Purgatory is a dumping ground where lost souls go to be lost. It is where all the unwanted things go. It is a place where time is non-existent and boredom thrives. You cannot escape. 

Its inhabitants like you do not know how they got there, and why, if they are alive or dead?

Quests and Requests is a first-person video game that re-visits the traditional quest formula in a quirky, absurd universe. The player takes on the role of a fallen knight, trapped in an liminal dimension, a cross betwixt a junkyard and Purgatory. Are you alive or dead? Who are you? Why are you here? 

The only link you have to your past and identity is a talking sword handle claiming to be your companion-in-arms (or so they say). 

Your blade is a physical representation of your soul, and it is broken. The goal is to rebuild your sword and in parallel, your memories and soul. To do so you must  collect fragments of stories from the characters that inhabit that dimension. Who knows? Maybe then you will absolve your soul and gain the choice to leave this fever dream.

Each character has their own story, their own idea of who and where they are, and thoughts about death, violence, love and family.
